About Our Church
We are located in the center of Concord, Massachusetts. Our church has been a part of the Concord community for over 100 years. We serve the surrounding area and have members from many nearby towns.
Our church is one of the worldwide branches of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Mother Church was founded in 1879 by Mary Baker Eddy with the mission to “organize a church designed to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing” (Church Manual, p. 17).
